Dr. Bramhall photo
J.P. Bramhall, M.D.
Following his graduation from Texas A&M in 1981, where he was a four year letterman for the Texas A&M baseball team, Dr. J.P. Bramhall attended medical school at the Texas A&M College of Medicine, receiving his MD in 1985. He was then selected for his orthopedic surgery residency in Fort Worth, Texas at John Peter Smith Hospital where he graduated in 1990. He completed his Orthopedic Sports Medicine fellowship training with the renowned Dr. James Andrews MD in Birmingham Alabama 1990-91. Dr. Bramhall returned to Bryan/College Station in August, 1991 where he began his Orthopedic Surgery practice and became the Head Team Physician and Orthopedic Surgeon for Texas A&M Athletics. He was appointed as the Director of Sports Medicine for Texas A&M university athletics in 2001, a position he held until 2021.
Dr. Bramhall was a four year baseball letterman for the Aggies from 1978 to 1981. He was recognized as team captain in 1981 and received the prestigious Wally Moon most improved player award in 1980 as a junior. He had a career batting average of .329 and completed his career holding 4 Texas A&M baseball records, including career stolen bases and single season walks. In 2013, Dr. Bramhall was admitted to the Texas High School Football Coaches Hall of Fame for his contributions to surrounding high schools in the field of Sports Medicine.
He also served as the President of the Texas Society of Sports Medicine from 2014-15. Dr. Bramhall was honored by the Southeastern Conference (SEC) in 2019 as the Team Physician of the Year. Dr. Bramhall is an active member of the American Orthopedic Society for Sports Medicine and the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons. He was a charter board member of the Texas A&M Huffines Institute for Sports Medicine and Human Performance and served on the Texas A&M University, Letterman’s Association Board of Directors. Dr. Brahmall was a member of the College Station Little League Board of directors from 1995 to 1999, and was a coach for the 1997 Texas State Little League Baseball Champion College Station National.
Dr. Rick Seabolt
B. Rick Seabolt, M.D.
Dr. Rick Seabolt is originally from Conroe, Texas. He attended Texas A&M University in College Station from 1989 to 1992, medical school at Texas A&M College of Medicine, and then completed his Orthopedic Surgery Residency at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi.
Upon completion of his residency training in 2001, Dr. Seabolt returned to College Station to join the practice at Central Texas Sports Medicine & Orthopaedics. Since that time, he has served as a Team Physician for Texas A&M University, as a Team Orthopedic Surgeon for Blinn College and Bryan High School, and has provided medical care for other area schools. Dr. Seabolt recently practiced at Texas Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine before rejoining CTSM in 2013.
Dr. Seabolt has been a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery since 2004, the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons since 1996, the Texas Orthopaedic Association since 2002, and the Christian Medical Dental Association since 2001. He has been a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons since 2005. He is a member of the American College of Sports Medicine and the Texas Medical Association. His professional interests include general orthopaedics, sports medicine and arthroscopy.
Dr. Seabolt held leadership positions as the Chairman of the Department of Surgery at The Physicians Centre in Bryan, Texas from 2003 to 2005, and he served on the Trauma Services Committee of St. Joseph Regional Health Center in Bryan, Texas from 2004 to 2005. He has served on multiple leadership committees at hospitals in the Brazos Valley. Dr. Seabolt is very active in the local community. He is heavily involved with Calvary Youth Soccer, a competitive boys soccer club, and is owner and general manager of the Twin City Toucans, a local pre-professional soccer team. He and his wife, Deanna, were married in 2000 and have two sons, Sol and Samuel.
Dr. Barry Solcher
Barry Solcher, M.D.
Dr. Barry W. Solcher, M.D. is a Board-Certified Orthopedic Surgeon with recertification from the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. Dr. Solcher earned his Medical Degree with Honors in Surgery at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas. He performed a Categorical Rotating Internship at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas. He completed an Orthopedic Surgery Residency, serving as Chief Resident in Orthopedic Surgery, as well as a member of the Utilization Review Committee, Ambulatory Care Committee, and Surgical Subcommittee, at the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas. Dr. Solcher opted for Fellowship Training in Foot and Ankle Surgery at the Foundation for Orthopaedic, Athletic and Reconstructive Research UT Health Science Center in Houston, Texas.
In addition to practicing orthopedic surgery and foot and ankle surgery, Dr. Solcher serves as a non-tenured Clinical Assistant Professor and Orthopedic Consultant at the College of Medicine at Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas. Dr. Solcher is distinguished as a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery and American Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Society. He is a member of the Texas Orthopaedic Association, Texas Medical Association, and Brazos-Robertson Counties Medical Society.
Dr. Solcher's research is published in several peer-reviewed medical journals, and he is a national and international presenter. He has supported the Aggies as a Team Physician, Texas A & M Athletic Department, since 1998.
Throughout his career, Dr. Solcher has received numerous recognitions and awards, including: 2007-2013 Texas Monthly Super Doctor, 2010 Bryan & College Station Eagle Reader's Choice Award for Best Orthopaedic Surgeon, and 2008 Bryan & College Station Eagle Reader's Choice Award for Best Orthopaedic Surgeon.
Grant Rowland, M.D.
Grant Rowland, M.D.
Dr. Grant Rowland is a native of Dallas, Texas, and has returned home to join the specialists at Central Texas Sports Medicine and Orthopedics. His medical training began in Galveston, Texas, where he graduated with a Doctorate of Medicine in 2011. He then completed his orthopedic surgical residency in Kansas City at the University of Kansas Medical Center where he was peer-elected as Chief Resident in 2010. During this time, Dr. Rowland assisted in care for multiple local high-school teams and published research covering ultrasound and surgical evaluation of the knee.
Dr. Rowland was then selected for an ACGME-accredited Fellowship in Orthopedic Sports Medicine at the University of Kentucky in Lexington. While in Kentucky, he received training from international specialists on advanced arthroscopic and open surgical techniques of the knee and shoulder. In addition, he was actively involved in care for the University of Kentucky athletic program, the Kentucky State University athletic program, and several Lexington high schools.
As an active fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, Dr. Rowland remains on the forefront of education and technology for sports medicine. He has given multiple presentations at national meetings and published original research in peer-reviewed journals. He currently serves as a Team Physician for Texas A&M athletics and College Station high school football. Dr. Rowland and his wife, Sally, have enjoyed the Bryan-College Station community where they raise their daughters, Heidi and Halle.
Dr. Rowland brings experience treating sports injuries in patients of all ages and competitive levels. His ultimate goals are minimizing pain, maximizing function, and restoring lifestyle. Dr. Luedke Colten
Colten Luedke, D.O.
Dr. Colten Luedke is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon who specializes in Sports Medicine and Shoulder Reconstruction. He also specializes in shoulder, elbow, hand/wrist, hip, knee, foot, and ankle surgeries. He graduated with his undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University in 2004. After he graduated from A&M, he went on to attend The University of North Texas Health Science Center College of Osteopathic Medicine to obtain his medical degree. From there he went on to complete his residency at John Peter Smith Hospital, which is a Level 1 Trauma Center, located in Fort Worth, Texas.
Dr. Luedke trained at one of the nation's top orthopedic fellowship programs at the Steadman Hawkins Clinic in South Carolina. While he was there he had the opportunity to work with and provide care to the Greenville Drive, the single A affiliate of the Boston Red Sox. He also provided care to the Colorado Rockies while in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Dr. Luedke was born and raised in Bellville, Texas and when he has extra time he can be found back there providing care to the community. Outside of practicing medicine Dr. Luedke enjoys spending time with his wife Candice, an OB-Gyn at Baylor Scott & White, his son Brooks, and their black Labrador retriever Lilly.
