Topical MUSE Exosomes - Microneedling

Cutting-edge exosome therapy paired with microneedling to help support youthful vitality and smoothness. Microneedling creates microchannels in the skin, allowing topical exosomes-cell-derived messengers involved in natural skin communication-to be absorbed more effectively. This combination may encourage improved hydration, a more balanced appearance, and enhancements in overall radiance and texture, offering a modern approach to refreshed-looking skin.

What are Regenerative Face Procedures?
At Extension Health, our Regenerative Aesthetics Program is designed for patients seeking natural, lasting improvements in skin health and facial rejuvenation. Guided by experienced providers and rooted in cutting-edge regenerative medicine, our protocols harness the body’s own cellular potential to repair, restore, and enhance. Leaders in regenerative medicine, Dr. Jonathann Kuo, Dr. James Salway, and the clinical team at Extension Health bring more than 15 years of expertise in advanced regenerative therapeutics. From spearheading early clinical research on exosomes to driving innovations in stem cell applications for aesthetics, our team is dedicated to elevating the standard of longevity and restorative care. Extension Health’s regenerative aesthetics program is designed to rejuvenate skin health and revitalize hair growth, combining cutting-edge science with personalized treatment strategies to help you look and feel your best.
Meet Valerie Sheehan, FNP-C
Valerie is the nurse practitioner who translates Extension Health's regenerative aesthetics protocols into patient care, running the exosome therapy, regenerative peptide, and microneedling treatments behind our Facial Rejuvenation program — because skin aging isn't a cosmetic problem to cover up, it's a signal of cellular function worth restoring. She trained as an EMT before becoming a registered nurse and spending years as a travel nurse in emergency departments across Hawaii, California, Arizona, North Carolina, and Florida, then moved into outpatient care specializing in GLP-1 metabolic therapy — a shift from acute intervention to longitudinal, root-cause medicine that still shapes her practice today. She has completed advanced injection technique training under Dr. Arthur Swift, a globally recognized plastic surgeon who has trained more than 40,000 physicians across 61 countries, and brings that precision to the physician-calibrated facial rejuvenation protocols she delivers and tracks over time. She holds a BS in Biology from the University at Albany, a BSN from the University of Miami, and an MSN in Family Nurse Practitioner studies from Stony Brook University, and has been board-certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners since 2022; outside the clinic, she's usually outdoors — hiking, at the beach with her dog, or planning the next trip.
