How to Prepare
Bring Your Imaging
If you have prior X-rays, MRI, or other imaging of your shoulder, bring them to your visit. These help your provider assess the joint and determine the most appropriate course of treatment.
Arrange a Ride Home
You will not be able to drive after surgery. Plan to have a friend or family member take you home and stay with you for the first few hours of recovery.
Review Your Medications
Inform your care team of all medications and supplements you take. Some blood thinners and anti-inflammatories may need to be paused prior to your appointment.
